I consider myself to be relatively well rounded in the latest hoopla of social networking site games like Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars,Yoville, and such. That’s why when I started to see these farmville guides popping up all over the place I was kind of surprised. I mean, I can see why people might need some tips to get going in games like Mafia Wars, but FarmVille?
At this point though I hadn’t actually played the game, but I didn’t really think it could be all that difficult. I figured I should give it a shot , just so that I could say I knew what I was talking about. And I was in for a rather big surprise. In no time, I was out of cash and had no crops to plant. I have to admit, there way more to this game than I had anticipated.
I eventually managed to dig myself out of my original geyser and out of the red, but I still wasn’t making all that much progress. I started to think that maybe I needed to see what these Farmville guides were all about. I wasn’t really expecting much, but since I hadn’t done so well on my own either, I figured it was worth a shot.
So I picked up a guide called farmville secrets, and was happily surprised by the tips and information I found in it. You wouldn’t think there were so many ways you could mess up a virtual farm, but believe me, its possible and you defitnetly can…lol. I was still stumbling along at level 6 when I got the guide after 2 weeks of playing on a regular basis. Now I’m the proud owner of a plantation and a level 26 Sultan of Soil. And I still look at my guide from time to time. If you’re having trouble getting into the hang of things in FarmVille, this guide is not a bad investment. One of the great things about FarmVille is that you can take it as seriously as you want to take it. If you only want to log in once a week, that’s fine. Just make sure you plant crops that will last that long. Once you start playing though, it’s not likely you’ll be able to stay away for very long.

LOTRO is a pretty difficult game to play especially if you don’t have a guild or a group of players to associate with everytime. Since I usually have a busy schedule and don’t have time to play at the peak hours when my friends are online to back me up, I’ve been working with a few LOTRO guides for leveling and making gold.
I must say that , providing me with a super optimized leveling path and many places and methods to to get LOTRO gold. So, I’m going to share a few tips for leveling and faming in LOTRO that I’ve learned from these Lord of the Rings Online Leveling Guides.
1. LOTRO Guides – Tips To Farm Gold In Lord Of The Rings Online
- If you go to farm gold in LOTRO at a certain camp, by grinding, always choose a camp with humanoid mobs. They all drop coins, recipes and barter items to be worth to farm on.
- Keep your mobs green or grey. This way you’ll kill them easier and in large numbers, which will increase the chances to get valuable loot.
- When you sell your goods at the Auction Hall, always sell full stacks of items. Of course, I’m talking here about the stackable items, like the reputation items or hides, for example. Players feel more comfortable buying full stacks, then buying items one by one, or in small amounts.
2. LOTRO Guides – LOTRO Leveling Tips
- Keep your quests 1 level lower tha your toon. This way you’ll complete them faster and advance faster.
- Don’t waste your time killing every mob that attacks you while you move from an interest point to another. They will leave you alone eventually.
- Don’t go to Auction Hall to refresh your gear everytime you level up. That’s time consuming. Get new equipment every 5 levels or so.
Now, here’s a great spot for grinding for XP and loot I’ve learned about, working with a few LOTRO guides.
I’m speaking about Goblin Town. This place is located in The Misty Mts. Not many players like this cave because leveling or farming here is quite hard. On the other hand, the respawn rate is high in this cave, all mobs have a diversified loot table and if you pull carefully, you will get nice XP and money here. They give barter items and a lot of other valuable stuff which can be sold for nice gold at the Auction Hall. The creatures in the cave are all 48-49, so it’s best to come here at 50.
These tips should be helpful to anyone playing Lord of the Rings Online without a fellowship most of the time. However if making gold or leveling a character in LOTRO gives you a headache, I strongly recommend you to take a look a the LOTRO Guide here.

I’ve been working with a LOTRO guide ever since I started to play this game, to finish up my characters as fast as possible and start raiding with my friends. I know, that many players resent the idea of using a guide to have a fast progress in LOTRO and any other MMOs, so for me a LOTRO guide is the best solution to level fast or make gold.
Although questing is a great method to XP a character in this game and the Lord of the Rings Online Leveling Guide I’ve been working with has an excellent questing path, sometimes it’s a good thing to alternate questing with grinding. Why? Because hunting at the right camps, at the right time you can get XP and money as well. So, here are a few great grinding spots in LOTRO.
1. Goblin Town. This place is located in the North High Pass, in Misty Mts . Most of the players really hate this place because it’s a very difficult area and if you don’t pay attention, you will die a lot. On the other hand, the respawn rate is high in this cave, all mobs have a diversified loot table and if you pull carefully, you’ll get nice XP and loot. They drop Goblin-town Tabards and Elf-Relics which can be sold for nice gold at the Auction Hall. The mobs are all 48-49, so it’s best to come here when your character is higher than 50.
2. Gazatu-ru. This spot is inside Mines of Moria, in the eastern part of Zelem-melek, South of Twenty-first Hall. The mobs here are all orc-kin, with a nice respawn rate and a fat, juicy loot table. You can make nice XP here and also get a few 10s of gold. However, be careful if you go to this place, as the most of the mobs are connected in groups of 2-3 and there are many patrols.
3. Katub-zahar. This place is inside Mines of Moria, located in the northeastern part of the Great Delving. The mobs here are Deep-claw beasts, which drop Magnificent Hides and also reputation items for Moria, like Broken Engravings and Crystal Lamp Fragments. You can have a nice progress here especially if you have rested XP, as the respawn rate is high and the mobs don’t attack right away.
These are just a few grinding locations I spend my time at when I want to break my questing sessions. However, this LOTRO guide has a great questing path, so you don’t have to grind if you don’t like too. From the starting areas to Mirkwood, it covers all the important quests in the game and makes any player’s leveling experience much smoother and faster.
